River of Grace Church is legally registered in Costa Rica as the Río de Gracia Association (Asociación Río de Gracia). Here we share openly who we are, where we're headed and how we are organized.
To be a living community of believers, rooted in God's Word and in the faith the Church has confessed through the centuries, that exalts God by proclaiming the gospel, loving one another, growing in biblical training and serving society in practical ways.
To be a beacon of light and hope in Hatillo and the surrounding area, guiding people toward a life transformed by the love of Christ.
We share the good news of Jesus with everyone, whatever their social standing, culture or beliefs. We walk with those taking their first steps of faith and strengthen fellow believers through faithful teaching of the Word.
We cultivate a culture of warmth, respect, unity and mutual support. We aim to speak honestly, be transparent and forgive, reflecting Christ's character in everyday life.
We are committed to keep learning about God and his Word, through serious study and practical application. We want to raise up leaders who are full of integrity, mature, compassionate and filled with the Holy Spirit.
We mobilize as a body to meet concrete needs: food, health, clothing and spiritual care. We also support other local churches with resources, training and encouragement. Our faith is expressed in action.
The Bible is God's inspired Word, sufficient and authoritative to guide our faith, our lives and our mission.
Salvation is an undeserved gift we receive by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. All we are and do is by his grace, and we live with gratitude.
We are the body of Christ. We build each other up through genuine friendship, accountability and spiritual support.
We love God with all we are and our neighbor with concrete actions: compassion, justice and truth.
We serve with integrity, responsibility and our very best, knowing that we do it for the Lord.
Develop creative, Bible-faithful ways to share the gospel with people of every culture, age and background.
Strengthen spiritual formation through Bible studies, discipleship groups, theological training and a culture of continual growth.
Lead social outreach that responds to real needs in our community: food, health, clothing and care.
